People 4 Earth has defined its standard in which the 4 pillars of sustainability are comprised

A product or service must meet the standard to carry the People 4 Earth seal. This standard will be developed further with consumers, governments and companies.

GOOD 4 PEOPLE

PURE

Stands for the quality of a product for the consumer. It covers the aspects healthy and safe, authentic and transparent.

FAIR

Describes the treatment of people who are part of a products production chain. It covers the aspects worker rights, education and personal development and fair price/ value.

GOOD 4 EARTH

LIFE

Communicates the need to conserve nature, treat animals well and prevent the depletion of natural resources. It covers the aspects biodiversity, animal friendliness and ecological product quality.

RENEW

focuses on the impact that products have on the environ- ment. It covers the aspects energy preservation, waste reduction and clean air, water and soil.
